All you need to know about Hon. Anite Evelyn

I am a highly accomplished Ugandan national with a wealth of experience in the government and public sectors.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University, a Master of Arts in International Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and a Certificate in Senior Executive Program from Harvard Business School, I am well-equipped to serve my country in various capacities.

Currently, I have the honour of serving as the State Minister for Privatization and Investment at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Uganda. In this role, I have a significant responsibility to serve as a shareholder of various enterprises under the Privatization Unit.

Beyond my current role, I have also had the privilege of serving in several other capacities, including the Coordinator for bilateral relations between Uganda and the Republic of Qatar, Board Member Parliamentary Pension Scheme, Board Member of Makerere University Business School, State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Member of Parliament Youth Representative (Northern Uganda), Publicity Secretary National Resistance Movement Parliamentary Caucus (NRM Caucus), Committee Member Equal Opportunities, Committee Member Foreign Affairs, and Committee Member Health.

As a public servant, I've had the opportunity to engage in exciting and challenging work, such as policy formulation, collaborating with

development partners, presiding over national and international activities, providing political guidance and supervision, and making legislation, among other duties. I'm also passionate about media engagement and have been involved in daily media monitoring, preparing news briefs, writing radio scripts, hosting morning shows, and more.

It's been an incredible journey thus far, and I'm excited about the future and the opportunity to continue serving Uganda to the best of my abilities.
